Plans for Mayan Spa Begin

The Luna Jaguar Spa resort, situated close to the historically important Mayan city, Copan, is hoping to open its doors in March 2005. Plans are still being drawn up and the final cost has yet to be confirmed, but the resort will offer accommodation in 35 tree house-style villas, designed to blend in with the surrounding rainforest. Northern California's New Casino Resort & Spa: Cache Creek

The new Cache Creek Resort & Spa has opened near Vacaville, California. The resort boasts a new 66,000-square-foot casino replete with 1,762 slot machines, 120 table games that range from blackjack to Caribbean Stud, and eight eateries that range from a deli to an upscale steakhouse, a 200-room hotel complex that includes a 5,000-square-foot spa and equally large conference center.
