Loofah Loafers

"Give your feet a hand" with the Loofah Loafer, a patented sandal with a removable, washable insoles made from a loofah sponge. When wet, the insoles conform to the feet like a sponge. Special stitching aids in reflexology on the soles of the feet. The natural network of fibers gently exfoliate and massage the feet as the user wears them.

Loofah Loafers Original are sturdy enough to be worn indoors and out, which make them ideal for poolside or spas offering treatments out of doors.

Loofah Loafers have been featured in Newsweek, In Style, Self, Fitness, Ladies Home Journal, Seventeen, Brides, McCalls, W, US News and World Report and Vogue Magazines, and, have been tried and tested, with thumbs up, from the staff members at Spa Index. Two varieties available, from $18.95 SRP.

  • Teens Relieve Angst at the Spa

  • Care & Charity: Spas Help Those That Are Stressed
  •    By Sarah McClellan for Fort Worth Business Press. According to the International Spa Association, the number of spas in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas region jumped from 669 to 969 from 1999 to 2001. On average, spas in the region have 4,100 visits per year. Its study also reported that spas are becoming a main component in the development of resorts and shopping malls. Alexander von Illyes, president of European Skincare Institute, said the boost in spa business is a result of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. "People are recognizing something terrible could happen and now they want to do something for themselves," von Illyes said. "And, travel is riskier so day spas have become like a vacation in their backyard."
